THIS HAPPENS ONLY IN INDIA

I am an author of a book THINKING ABOUT THINKING which deals with the kind of thinking errors Indians MAKE.[JAICO PUBLICATIONS RS 195 ONLY] .I am now writing a book THINKING SKILLS FOR INDIAN EXECUTIVES.Meanwhile I wish to write a book authored by THOUSANDS OF INDIANS which i shall only co-ordinate.The sales procceds of this book shall go to charity.This book to be titled THIS HAPPENS ONLY IN INDIA will show the unique events , personal experiences of the co-authors which will showcase what is unique about India--the funny like the one shown below, the tragic, the noble, the colourful.
In short India--- warts and all for the people of our country and foreigners who wish to know the true India

I had a hilarious experience many yeas ago when I traveled to
Ahmedabad and found myself in a room at a top hotel one steaming hot afternoon.I called the room boy and requested him to fetch some cold beer. I should have known better. The room boy gave me a look of pity , for my total ignorance. ‘Saab Gujerat is a dry state’ he reminded me.. But he was a pragmatic guy and told me of a loophole in the law which I could use to my advantage. ‘Come with me to the basement where you will find a clerk of the excise department. You can apply for a temporary liquor permit on health grounds. All that is required is for you to fill a form and pay Rs. 15’ he said , his face lighting up .So off I proceeded to the august presence of the powerful official in whose hand lay the future of my throats .I paid him the amount and he placed the all important form before me. I doubled up in laughter and then fumed with anger at the very first entry in the form which was in Hindi.
